The music on this label was produced by Masaki Morishita, who was also the owner of the independent label Trigram. Doubletrap mainly worked with young musicians representing the new generation. Guillotine Discs was Doubletrap's subsidiary label.

This label is no longer active, because Creativeman Disc., which manufactured and distributed its CDs, discontinued it in 1998.
