1987
- Made a 12,000-kilometer drumming tour across the Asian continent, carrying his drum set: played in Tiananmen Square and on the Great Wall of China; at the Potara Temple, and at an altitude of 5,350 meters on the world's highest mountain, Mt. Chomoramma, in Tibet; at an Afghan camp in Pakistan; by the Ganges River in India; and in Istanbul, Turkey.
1988
- Published his first book, Batchi Atari, about his Asian drumming tour.
late 1988-early 1989
- Made a 5,000-kilometer drumming tour across the African continent, carrying his drum set: played at the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania; in a Masai village in Kenya; in Kampala, Uganda; and in a pygmy village and by the Zaire River in Zaire.
1990
- Published his second book, Africa Ongaku Tanken-ki, about his African drumming tour.
- Published his third book, Oira ga Goku da.
- Released "Goku" Nonaka & Ningenkokuho's first CD, Jolly.

- Made a 15,000-kilometer drumming tour across Central and South America, carrying his drum set: played at a Lacandon village in Mexico; on a street in Guatemala; in villages near the Amazon River in Colombia and Peru; and at the Carnaval in Rio, Brazil.

- Released "Goku" Nonaka & Ningenkokuho's second CD, Dull.
1992
- Published his fourth book, Amazon Ongaku Hyoryuki, about his Central and South American tour.
- Released "Goku" Nonaka & Ningenkokuho's third CD, Dump.
1994
- Played in Da Nang, Vietnam; in Sri Lanka; and in a Somali refugee camp in Kenya.
- Made a 3,500-kilometer drumming tour across Japan, carrying his drum set.
1995
- Played in Shanghai, China and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
1997
- Visited Uganda to expand his drumming style.
- Released "Goku" Nonaka & Ningenkokuho's fourth CD, Over Drive.
1998
- Russian tour with Ningenkokuho, including an appearance at the Sergey Kuryokhin Memorial Festival.
1999
- "Goku" Nonaka & Ningenkokuho appeared at the Moers New Jazz Festival in Germany.
