Born in Kanagawa. Madoka Kouno started playing bass guitar in 2000. In 2003 she completed a course on sound/art expression at Bigakko, after which she began using a sampler, pickups, and tape recorders in performances. Currently she uses an empty tape recorder ("no-tape-in").
