shotahirama is an electronic sound artist with a strong interest both in Dadaism's repudiation and disruption of the established order and common sense, and in the rationalist, functionalist art of the Bauhaus movement. He explores possibilities and methods that can be applied to the creation, production, and expression of geometric sustained-sound works using electronic equipment. shotahirama was born in New York in 1984.
