Ura was born in Tokyo in 1984 and currently lives in Koto-ku (Tokyo). Focusing on band work since around '97, he has also been engaged in musical activity based on the themes of contact with objects and connections with everyday life. His latest such project is called Humg. Since 2004, Ura has been running http://www.two-lines.org, the central component of which is a record label.
